This individual will work in individual or team capacity to provide solutions to a variety of problems with formulation, characterization, engineering and property optimization of various types of photoresists. He/she should have an understanding of photoresist chemistries.

The individual will be expected to have a strong hands-on approach in the laboratory and good theoretical understanding of the various tools and process that are required in his/her line of work. The employee may carry the additional task of maintaining a state-of-the-art chemical synthesis lab, where the bulk of the synthetic work will be carried out. To that end, substantial lab and hands-on chemical synthesis experience, including managing a chemical lab is highly desired. Must have skills:

1. Ph.D. degree in Chemistry (organic synthetic chemistry strongly preferred).
2. Experience in scale up issues, especially with respect to issues relating to transferring laboratory science to large volume manufacturing.
3. Documented problem solving skills (with examples).
4. Ability to run and maintain a chemical synthesis lab (ideally prior experience).
5. Excellent presentation and communication skills.
6. The applicant should also have clean room experience and basic understanding of electronic device function and fabrication.
7. Needs PhD plus 3 + years experience.
