Seeking a proven senior developer to join a team of skilled and experienced developers meeting critical business needs for Financial Research & Engineering department and various Trade Desks in Investments & Capital Markets business division.  

Proven experience in hands-on application development including a working and strong knowledge of the following technologies: J2SE, J2EE, Unix Shell Scripting, and SQL.  Also, knowledge of Perl, Autosys, C/C++, and SAS preferred.

* Experience using JDBC and relational databases such as DB2 and Sybase databases.

* Proficiency in object-oriented application design and integration patterns, and ability to apply design patterns to solve technical problems.

* Provide full life cycle support to new processes and systems to meet the needs of strategic initiatives, and to enhance existing applications.

* Knowledge and experience in Full Software Development Life Cycle methodologies and best practices including documentation.

* Communicate to various audiences including business analyst(s), test-team, technology services partners, business areas, and management at the appropriate levels.

* Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and consultants.

* Excellent oral and written communication skills. 

* Minimum of 5 years of application development experience in the above mentioned technologies.

* Minimum of 7 years of overall IT experience preferred.

* Knowledge of primary and secondary mortgage markets.

* Knowledge of fixed income securities and model analytics preferred.

* Experience of working with fixed income trading desks and traders preferred
