A postdoctoral position is currently available with the Imaging Group of the X-ray Science Division at Argonne National Laboratory. This position is responsible for planning and implementing synchrotron radiation research in support of the microtomography program at beamline 2-BM. The candidate should have considerable knowledge of x-ray tomography, image processing and related algorithm; skill in experimental physics to develop advanced instrumentation and scientific applications for the 2-BM x-ray microtomography program.

Successful candidates should have a PhD in applied physics, materials science, or related disciplines.
