Argonne National Laboratory invites applications for three Postdoctoral positions associated with a new project on luminescent solar concentrators (LSCs). This project, which involves a collaboration of three divisions (Physics (PHY), Materials Science (MSD), and the Center for Nanoscale Materials (CNM)), aims to improve the performance of LSCs through a combination of global parameter optimization and novel semiconductor nanomaterials. A Ph.D. in the appropriate field is essential.

In broad terms, the following expertise is required for the three positions:
1. Large-scale parallel computation of photon ray-tracing (PHY Division – Requisition Number 315319 PHY).
2. Synthesis of semiconductor nanocrystals (CNM Division – Requisition Number 315352 CNM).
3. Device fabrication and characterization; Background in photovoltaics preferred (CNM Division – Requisition Number 315350 CNM).
