Location: Singapore
Posted: November 06, 2009 Expires: February 06, 2010
Job Title: Postdoctoral Fellow
Description:

A postdoctoral research position is available in the immune imaging laboratory at the Singapore Immunology Network (SIgN). The postdoctoral fellow will have access to state-of-the-art multiphoton microscope and other core facilities, including confocal microscopy, flow cytometry, antibody production and genomics platforms.

The primary research focus in Dr Ng Lai Guan’s laboratory is to study how immune cells exert their functions in the context of intact organs by intravital multiphoton microscopy.
Using a combination of functional and in vivo imaging studies, we aim to determine the sequence of cellular and molecular events occur during inflammatory response. We believe that better understanding of these processes may lead to novel therapeutic targets for allergy and infectious diseases.
