Job Title: Commodities C++ Developer
Description:

Our client’s core commodity team is looking for a motivated individual with strong technical skills to join their team in developing exciting new commodity products. The core commodity team is responsible for providing crucial market moving real time data in the oil, gas, and power markets to Bloomberg customers, creating new analytical tools for analysts and traders (for example, building a map platform for physical assets), and integrating commodity data to the rest ofthe system.

The candidate is expected to be working on all aspects of software development life cycle: requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment. The candidate will interact not only with team members, but he or she is also expected to interact with business managers and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
-Strong C++/C programming skills
-Strong problem solving skills
-Experience with UNIX
-Knowledge of relational database (Oracle)
-Good communication skills (Can communicate with technical people as well as non technical people such as business managers)
-Can work on all aspects of SDLC
The following skills are desirable:
-Experience with GIS development
