A Post-Doctoral opening is available at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. The successful candidate will hold a PhD in physics, chemistry or a related field, have a very strong background in Raman scattering spectroscopy, and good knowledge of x-ray diffraction, and solid state material synthesis. Also required are proficiency in experimental data interpretation including Raman modes as well as knowledge of crystallography and structural refinement of x-ray diffraction data.
