It seeks an exceptionally gifted individual for the role of Senior Network Engineer in its IT Systems group. Candidates should have superb network design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills, as well as strong programming skills and an excellent understanding of best-of-breed network management practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable network designs for both our campus and global networks
• Identify, research, and evaluate emerging network technologies
• Develop and implement network management and related tools
• Engineer solutions for the firm's growing, highly-resilient network infrastructure

• 5-7 years experience with enterprise-level network design
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical discipline
• Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise-class routers and switches (Cisco experience a plus)
• Superior understanding of network routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, and MPLS)
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including packet-level traffic analysis
• In-depth understanding of network security and access control
• Experience with VoIP, QoS, and IP Telephony technologies
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Creative problem-solving abilities
• Experience with UNIX Systems administration (Solaris, Linux) a plus
