Description:

A postdoctoral position is available at NIH/NIEHS to participate in an ongoing research program investigating the role of environmental exposures in the development and exacerbation of asthma and allergy. Current work includes a mix of cross-sectional and longitudinal study designs. Responsibilities include study design, implementation and monitoring, analysis of datasets, and preparation of reports for submission to peer-reviewed journals. Current emphasis is on analysis of large national datasets including the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) and the National Survey of Lead and Allergens in Housing (NSLAH).

Successful applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, Environmental Health, or a related discipline and have up to 5 years of relevant postdoctoral-level experience with basic statistical analysis methods for observational and intervention studies. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
