Postdoctoral positions are available immediately to investigate molecular mechanism of TGF-beta signal transduction pathway, using both in vitro and in vivo systems (EMBO J, 2002, 21: 3749; Cell 2005, 121: 101; Cancer Cell 2006, 9: 445). Applicants must have a recent Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and be highly motivated to conduct a pre-established program in laboratory research. A strong background in molecular biology, biochemistry, cell biology, or developmental or cancer biology is required. Experience in mice model is a plus.

The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients.
