Description:

A Postdoctoral Fellow position is available in the Laboratory of Tumor Immunology and Biology (LTIB), Center for Cancer Research, NCI, on the NIH campus in Bethesda, MD. The LTIB conducts research in the areas of tumor immunology, mechanisms of tumor cell-immune cell interactions, and immune mechanisms. The laboratory functions as an integrated translational research program with the goal of designing and developing new immunotherapies and immunologic strategies for cancer treatment and prevention.

The successful candidate will be involved in translational research efforts in cancer immunotherapy and in the development of novel strategies for cancer vaccines. Studies will also involve mechanisms of host T cell activation and immune regulation.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree in immunology or molecular biology. The position is available immediately. Appointment duration is up to 5 years. Stipends are commensurate with education and experience.
