Description:

The Experimental Neuroimaging Section in the Laboratory of Diagnostic Radiology Research is accepting applications for a three-year research fellowship position for qualified Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. candidates interested in cellular or molecular imaging. The labs major focus is in magnetically labeling stem cells and other mammalian cells with FDA approved agents as a basis for translational research leading to clinical trials.

We are looking for an individual with experience in stem cell biology, immunohistochemistry, FACS analysis, and working with neurological and tumor experimental models serving as proof of concept for using magnetically labeled cells to facilitate innovative treatment strategies. One major research interest is to translate magnetic intracellular labeling techniques developed in the lab and bring the technology forward to clinical trials.
