Job Title: Assistant Portfolio Manager
Description:

Assistant Portfolio Manager Major investment management firm is seeking an associate to join its portfolio advisory group. Work will include market and sector return analysis including review of absolute risk, relative risk (tracking error) and correlations. Position also entails learning and enhancing portfolio construction processes and effectively communicating methods and results to clients as well as internally.

Duties will include development of written commentary describing market conditions, preparing portfolio performance and return attribution reports.

Work will include assisting marketing in development of Request for Proposal and other marketing activities to support new business initiatives. and assisting senior members of the equities investment team in providing clients and prospects with updates regarding the investment philosophy and performance of specific products. A top school BS or MS or Ph.D degree is required.

Excellent analytical and communication skills are a must.
