The University of Idaho Extension System is seeking applicants for the tenure-track faculty position of Extension Educator, Animal Science.

This position is housed in the University of Idaho Custer County Extension Office in Challis, Idaho (pop. 909). Custer County (pop. 4180) is located in North Central Idaho, and is the third largest county in Idaho, containing 3.16 million acres. Ninety-six percent of the land in Custer County is state and Federal owned. Ranching, farming, mining, and recreation are the largest non-government employers. Minimum Qualifications: The position requires a Master's degree in animal science, agriculture and natural resources, range science, or a closely related field. Applicants are expected to have outstanding communication skills, computer skills, and a strong desire to educate diverse audiences about animal science issues.
