Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biochemistry or Neurobiology. Background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology. Computer skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in neural development and/or stem cell biology. The candidate will complete research to analyze the roles of the transcriptional repressor REST during neural development. This will be done utilizing techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry and cell cultures. Other responsibilities include reading publications related to the project, computer searches and analyses; Collecting data from research and writing papers for publication; Will meet on occasion with visiting guest lecturers to discuss ongoing research. Will make presentations at lab meetings; Ordering supplies and taking care of equipment. To apply:
