Graphics Developer - 50953

Signal & Image Processing Software Development.

In this area, engineers work in an embedded signal and image processing and graphics environments, developing algorithms for enhancing and presenting acquired ultrasound data in the current and future generations of Philips ultrasound products.

Software will be carried through the full development life-cycle: requirement gathering, specification, design, coding, and test. 

• BS or MS in Computer Science. Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics or equivalent
• 5-10 years graphics development experience (may include internship and/or co-op experience)
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
• Strong desire to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle
• Strong communication skills

Technical Skills:

• DirectX
• Parallel programs
• Multi-threaded windows environment

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of and/or experience with modern object-oriented programming languages - (e.g. C++) design and coding
• Knowledge of signal processing concepts
• Knowledge of computer graphics/rendering
