As the Biological/Reagents Manufacturing Associate Scientist you will join a talented Production Team within Stratagene, an Agilent Technologies Company

Job Duties include:
-Conduct the analysis of materials and perform processes required for the quantification and formulation of enzymes and related kits.
-Activity assisting with the introduction of new products and the exploration of new technologies for the improvement of product quality.
-Other duties included the writing, maintenance and reviewing of ISO compliant work instructions (WI) and standard operating procedures (SOP).
-Assist in the trouble shooting of technical problems that may arise.
-Answer technical questions about products responsible for.
-Assist with the training of new team members in both the production of products and company procedures.
-Maintain stocks of raw materials required and other duties and assigned.

Qualifications:

This position requires:
-BS/MS degree in biological science or related field
-3+ years of previous experience in chemistry, molecular biology, and/or biochemistry
-A strong working knowledge of standard laboratory techniques of molecular biology (PCR, QPCR, cloning, enzymatic assays, cell culture, and western blots) is required.
-Strong oral and written communication, organization, team building and computer skills essential.
