Supporting the CMBS operations projects within an investment bank

Responsibilities:

• Define and prioritize project activities.
• Direct meetings as required; identify operational impacts, prepare task lists, project plans, and issue logs.
• Meet with key Operations stakeholders to identify and document enhancements.
• Create user requirements to aid in the development of enhancementsLiaise with IT to review, prioritize and track progress on Operations enhancements.
• Assist in preparing for project training workshops and training materials for presentations relative to new or revised operational processes.
• Organize and participate in User Acceptance Testing to validate IT development.
• Run weekly Operations status meetings.
• Prepare and deliver a status report to Operations Senior Management on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking Operations or relevant field.
• 1-2 years of successful project management experience preferred.
• Experience with operations and administration of Whole Loan and CMBS products
• Knowledge of common banking operations systems, software and applications.
• Experience related to requirements gathering, system upgrades, migrations or new business accommodation.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
