Supporting the CMBS operations projects within an investment bank
Responsibilities:
- Define and prioritize project activities.
- Direct meetings as required; identify operational impacts, prepare task lists, project plans, and issue logs.
- Meet with key Operations stakeholders to identify and document enhancements.
- Create user requirements to aid in the development of enhancementsLiaise with IT to review, prioritize and track progress on Operations enhancements.
- Assist in preparing for project training workshops and training materials for presentations relative to new or revised operational processes.
- Organize and participate in User Acceptance Testing to validate IT development.
- Run weekly Operations status meetings.
- Prepare and deliver a status report to Operations Senior Management on a weekly basis.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of experience in Investment Banking Operations or relevant field.
- 1-2 years of successful project management experience preferred.
- Experience with operations and administration of Whole Loan and CMBS products
- Knowledge of common banking operations systems, software and applications.
- Experience related to requirements gathering, system upgrades, migrations or new business accommodation.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
