Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the Assistant or Associate level to provide academic leadership in university-community engagement to the Faculty's

ELP is the University of Alberta's key provider of ESL to the academic and scholarly communities at the university offering intensive credit courses integral to the university's internationalization strategy and enabling international undergraduate and graduate students to become effective, independent participants of the university and city region as well as professional, private and public communities in Canada and around the world.

The program serves a wide range of language learners through summer cultural seminars, and also serves international faculty and graduate teaching assistants through structured, disciplinary-based workshops on teaching in English in the Canadian culture. The program is also interested in the development of alternative assessment methods around English competency.
