PLASMAX is a project devoted to the modelling of plasma/microwave interactions for aerospace applications supported within the RTRA STAE (Réseau Thématique de Recherche Avancée Sciences et Technologies pour l'Aéronautique et l'Espace), a program launched by the French government and aimed at developing research centers of excellence with regional industry in the context of competitiveness clusters.

This postdoctoral position is connected to PLASMAX project and aim at developing advanced numerical methods and software for multi- scale problems for plasma-wave interaction numerical modelling. The postdoctoral researcher will evolve in a multi-disciplinary context and will have to exchange with physicists as well as mathematicians and computer scientists.

Candidates must hold a PhD degree and should have an excellent background in physics  (plasma modelling) , applied mathematics and have a research experience and international publications preferable on these particular topics
