Job Title: Experienced market research specialist
Description:

Innosight is a boutique consulting firm that focuses exclusively on enabling companies to achieve repeatable growth through innovation. We are currently seeking a market research specialist to join our quest to help companies identify and exploit high potential growth opportunities. The market research specialist will work with consulting teams to collect, analyze and present findings about consumers and professionals across a broad range of industries.

This person's responsibilities will include:

> Designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research studies:

  • Recruiting participants
  • Conducting interviews (by phone and in person)
  • Moderating focus groups
  • Performing observational research
  • Writing, designing and developing quantitative surveys

 

> Analyzing and communicating results:

  • Performing segmentation and cluster analysis on quantitative data
  • Synthesizing qualitative findings
  • Integrating qualitative and quantitative findings
  • Synthesizing and presenting results, considering the impact on business strategy

This position requires approximately 30% travel.

 

Required skills:

  • Ability to interpret and present research findings within a strategic context
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to perform well in a collaborative, team environment
  • Passion for and advanced skills in analyzing statistics (SPSS or SAS)
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Interest in innovation

 

Required experience:

The position requires an advanced degree in statistics or marketing science or equivalent subject matter and 3-4 years of experience designing, executing and analyzing results of market research studies.
