DUTIES:

He/she will join one year NSF funded research project on molecular and phylogenetic analysis in peptide synthesis. This is a full time (12 months per year) work and he or she will carryout the technical and/or research work under the supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI), will help molecular analysis, purchasing, data and equipment maintenance, proper record keeping and reporting to PI, will assist the PI to conduct summer workshops, will mentor 1 or 2 undergraduate students working in the project and will assist PI to publish and/or present research findings in appropriate scientific venues and help in research-academic related works as per the necessity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Post graduate or higher degree in biological sciences or related field.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

Experience in research, computer knowledge, ability to work with lab equipments, ability to mentor students, completing the tasks on time.
