Required Qualifications: PhD in cell biology, biochemistry, neurobiology or similar fields of molecular biology. Experience in routine techniques for molecular analysis of animal tissues or cells grown in culture as well as significant publication record in respected journals for molecular biosciences.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in rodent neurobiology preferred, experience in molecular biological techniques a requirement.

Applicant will design and execute experiments independently directed toward achieving the research goals of the laboratory, as well as, to write for fellowships and grants to obtain independent funding. Research is on mRNA trafficking and post-transcriptional control of gene expression in the nervous system.
