King Saud University (KSU) has realized the urgent need of high-quality research and education in information assurance and established a Center of Excellence in Information Assurance (CoEIA) as a novel addition to its intellectual wealth of diverse specialized faculties. The center is the first source of information assurance expertise in this region and will cater nationally and internationally renowned experts in the area with a vision to conduct world-class research in parallel with internationally recognized centers.

International collaboration with top quality information security researchers and professionals is also a part of mission strategy of CoEIA to transfer technology and mutual sharing of knowledge to solve information security problems more efficiently. CoEIA is in infancy and striving for support to achieve its vision and mission by growing as an internationally recognized center in information assurance.
