| Job Title: | Tumor Immunology, Dr. Jay Berzofsky |
| Description: |
A highly motivated postdoctoral fellow is sought to work on tumor immunology. The laboratory is exploring mechanisms of improving vaccines for both cancer and HIV, especially by discovering new principles to enhance and steer T cell immune responses. The tumor immunology group in the laboratory is studying a negative immunoregulatory mechanism used for immune evasion by cancer cells. Although most of the studies focus on the discovery of new principles through mouse-based work, there may be potential for translating discoveries into the clinic by interacting with a clinical trial team in the branch. Group members also have an opportunity to gain knowledge of HIV/mucosal immunology by interacting with the HIV research group in the lab. To apply: |
