Postdoctoral positions are available at Johns Hopkins Medicine to study the cellular and molecular mechanisms of inner ear development. Research topics include Planar Cell Polarity and the morphogenesis of inner ear hair cells, and morphogen signaling during development of the vestibular system. Our lab is based in the Dept. of Otolaryngology and is associated with the Center for Hearing and Balance and the Center for Sensory Biology. We specialize in the creation and analysis of transgenic and knockout mice and immediate opportunities to develop novel lines are available.
