Description:

A postdoctoral position is available in the Laboratory of Population Genetics (LPG) of the National Cancer Institute, NIH. The primary interest in my group is to study cancer genetics and epigenetics using systems biology approach. Our current research focuses on DNA copy number variation, mutations, and epigenetic alterations in breast cancer. We are conducting researches using both primary tumors and cancer cell lines. The candidate should have a Ph.D. in biological science with a strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, histopathology, and genomics.

The National Cancer Institute coordinates the National Cancer Program, which conducts and supports research, training, health information dissemination, and other programs with respect to the cause, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of cancer, rehabilitation from cancer, and the continuing care of cancer patients and the families of cancer patients. Specifically, the Institute:
