Our client, a High-end Quant Prop Group Prop Group within a Leading Equity Trading and Market Making  B/D , is looking for PhDs with a minimum of  3 - 5 years or more of options market making experience to join and lead their strategic initiative in the Options Markets, first in the US, then Internationally.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ph.D. in Math, Physics, Computer Science or Engineering from a top University. Willing to consider strong Master's degreed candidates with 3 - 5 years expereince in options trading and market making...
• Minimum of 2-5 years of non-trivial, algorithm and model/ algorithm / analytics development experience with C/C++, , Tcl/Tk, PERL, or Python, you will lead others and work with Comp Sci pros to implement
• Advanced statistical modeling abilities with a sound, and advanced level understanding of development using Java/C++/C with OOD, industry applications, programming paradigms, design patterns, data structures, and software engineering practices
• At least 3 - 5  years of experience in systematic options market making using quantitative methods

• Extensive understanding of equity options modeling, equity options markets and their microstructure

• Client facing skills and ability to understand and deal with potential client issues and assist in identification of client opportunities, and ability to support and assist sales effort in attracting options flow from the firm's existing client base, as well as new prospects

• Rigorous academic training in mathematics and statistics is required, as evidenced by educational institution, research, publications, presentations and work history;
• Academic success and a sharp analytical mind
• You will be working directly with the trading, sales and trading and other quantitative staff on or near the trading desk so strong communication skills and experience are essential..
• Mathematic and analytic capabilities that can discern correct/incorrect data and calculation results
• Team player with independent contributor capabilities
• Outgoing, friendly and professional personality...
