Emerging markets infrastructure analyst within a boutique project finance team

Responsibilities:

• Financial modeling of cash flow projections for infrastructure projects
• Request financing terms from capital providers
• Build, update and maintain financial and valuation models
• Research, summarize and evaluate market information
• Assess the risk-return offering of projects
• Support negotiations with potential partners, government clients, capital providers and contractors
• Help obtain required concessions and permits
• Engage consultants
• Assist in financial closings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial modeling, with a substantial exposure to modeling of Greenfield transactions in emerging markets
• Experience as the principal modeler/financial analyst (for the developer/Sponsor or lender) in at least one project finance transaction which was successfully closed.
• Experience in the development of Infrastructure (Power/Energy, Water, Transportation, etc.) projects
• Exposure to emerging markets
• Willingness and ability to travel overseas up to 35% of the time
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Top tier education
